Faribault Public Schools community,

Thank you for your patience as our school district continues to develop our response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

In accordance with Governor Walz’s mandate on March 15, Faribault Public Schools will spend the next 10 days formulating a Distance Learning plan that will allow student learning to continue from home in the event school continues to be out of session beyond March 27. That decision will ultimately be made by the governor and the Minnesota Department of Health.

Since school could potentially be called off through the remainder of the school year, it is important that our staff has this time to create a Distance Learning curriculum. Our administration is already working hard to make sure we are prepared to give students the best possible curriculum given these circumstances.

Distance Learning could include online and at-home activities assigned by your child’s teacher through SeeSaw, Schoology, or other technology platforms. It can also be in the form of a project or a packet of materials that do not require technology. Regardless, our staff will be prepared to engage students each day and deliver content on March 30 through the end of the school year, if necessary.

Should school be called off beyond March 27, we will have designated times for students and/or parents to pick up their belongings, as well as check out technology and supplies needed for distance learning. If you need to pick up you belongings before March 30, contact your building administrator or secretary.

Our school district is dedicated to ensuring the health and safety of our students as we continue to navigate this public health crisis. We will continue to provide updates via phone, email, our website, and Facebook as this situation evolves.

Waad ku mahadsan tahay dulqaadkaaga iyadoo iskuulada degmadeenu ay sii wadayaan hormarinta wax ka qabashada masiibada COVID-19. Iyada oo la raacayo waajibaadka Guddoomiyaha Walz ee Maarso 15, Faribault Public Schools waxay ku qaadan doontaa 10ka maalmood ee soo socda dejinta qorshe waxbarasho masaafada fog ah oo u oggolaaneysa ardayga waxbarashadu inuu ka sii socdo guriga haddii ay dhacdo in dugsiga sii socdo kalfadhiga wixii ka dambeeya Maarso 27.

Go'aankaas ayaa ugu dambeyntiina waxaa sameyn doona gudoomiyaha iyo Waaxda Caafimaadka ee Minnesota.

Bacdamaa ay suuragal tahay in iskuulka laga joojiyo inta ka harsan sanad dugsiyeedka, waxaa muhiim ah in shaqaalaheena waqtigan ay abuuraan manhajka waxbarashada masaafada. Maamulkayagu mar horeba wuxuu ku dadaalayaa inuu hubiyo inaan diyaar u nahay inaan ardayda siino manhajka ugu fiican ee suurtogalka ah marka loo eego duruufahaas jira.

Barashada masaafada waxaa ka mid noqon kara waxqabayada baraha interneedka ah iyo shaqo-guri ee uu qoro cunugaaga macalinkiisa iyada oo loo marinayo baraha waxbarashada sida: SeeSaw, Schoology, ama aalado kale oo farsamo. Waxay kaloo noqon kartaa qaab mashruuc ama xirmo alaab ah oo aan u baahnayn tikniyoolajiyad.

Si kastaba ha noqotee, shaqaalaheennu waxay diyaar u noqon doonaan inay ardayda la hawlgalaan maalin kasta oo ay soo bandhigaan waxa nuxurka 30ka bishan Maarso illaa dhammaadka sannad dugsiyeedka, haddii loo baahdo.

Degmadeenu iskuulada waxay u heellanyihiin hubinta caafimaadka iyo badbaadada ardayda sida aan u sii wadnay raadinta dhibaatadan caafimaad ee dadweynaha. Waxaan sii wadi doonnaa inaan bixinno cusboonaysiinta taleefanka, emaylka, websaydhkeena, iyo Facebook maaddaama ay xaaladdani kacsan tahay.
